Getting started
Prime Moments uses your Prime identity. Sign in, complete your Moments profile, add friends, and choose who can see each Moment before publishing.
1. Sign in
Use your supported Prime account or Sign in with Apple, then complete the profile shown in Prime Moments.
2. Add friends
Search for people, send a friend request, and wait for approval before using friend-only features.
3. Choose an audience
Select Close Friends, Friends, or Public before sharing. Review the selection every time the audience matters.
4. Capture and share
Grant camera or photo access only when needed, capture the Moment, and confirm the sharing controls.

Audience and visibility
Audience settings determine who should receive a Moment.
- Close Friends shares with the people in your Close Friends list.
- Friends shares with approved Prime Moments friends.
- Public may make the Moment available more broadly, including eligible discovery surfaces.
- Changing a list later does not necessarily change every previously shared copy or interaction.
- Only publish content you are comfortable sharing with the selected audience.

Troubleshooting
- A new Moment is missing: confirm your connection, open the Feed, and tap the Prime Moments logo to request a refresh.
- Camera or media does not open: check Camera, Microphone, and Photos permissions in iOS Settings.
- Location is missing or outdated: verify Location Services, the in-app sharing switch, and the selected audience.
- A notification opens the wrong place: update the app, keep notification permissions enabled, and include the notification type in your support report.
- A direct message is delayed: verify connectivity, reopen the conversation, and report the approximate time if it repeats.
- The app remains on loading: force quit once, reopen on a stable connection, and contact support if the account still does not load.
Common questions
Is location required?
No. Location is optional and is used only for location-related features you enable.
Can I delete my Moment?
Use the available action on your own Moment. Removal can take a short time to synchronize across devices.
Why can someone not see my Moment?
Check its audience, friendship status, Close Friends membership, expiration, and whether the viewer uses the current app version.
Are Prime Messaging and Prime Moments accounts connected?
Prime Moments can use your Prime identity, while Moments profile, friendships, settings, and content remain product-specific.
