1. What Prime Keyboard is

Prime Keyboard is a custom iPhone keyboard designed for typing in Armenian. The main app helps users enable the keyboard and manage keyboard preferences.

2. Typed text

Typing, swipe recognition, transliteration, and personal learning stay on-device by default. Prime Keyboard does not send complete sentences or surrounding document context. A future server-connected build may offer optional Community Learning for filtered single-word corrections only after separate, explicit consent.

3. Allow Full Access

Prime Keyboard may ask you to enable Allow Full Access. Full Access enables haptics, shared settings, and the technical ability to access an optional Community Learning service. Full Access alone does not enable correction sharing.

Basic Armenian typing, offline swipe recognition, the built-in dictionary, and transliteration and local personal learning work without Community Learning. Sharing remains off by default and requires a separate in-app consent choice.

4. Data stored by the current version

The current version stores keyboard preferences and a bounded personal dictionary in the on-device shared app container. Personal learning contains individual selected words, preferred Armenian latin forms, correction mappings, compact route fingerprints, small selection counts, and timestamps used to reduce the influence of old choices. It does not store complete sentences.

You can erase the personal dictionary at any time from Keyboard Settings in the Prime Keyboard app. The built-in offline dictionary and keyboard settings remain available.

5. Optional Community Learning

Community Learning is off by default. If a server is connected, you explicitly opt in, and Allow Full Access is enabled, Prime Keyboard may send only a rejected word, the corrected single word, language/output mode, a random event ID, and a 12-byte normalized route fingerprint over HTTPS. It does not send surrounding text, complete sentences, raw touch points, account data, Contacts, Location, advertising identifiers, passwords, email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, or payment data.

Turning Community Learning off clears corrections waiting to upload. Server-provided candidates are accepted by the app only after an aggregation threshold. No Community Learning server URL is configured in the current published build, so correction data cannot leave the device through this feature.

6. Sensitive input

Personal learning is disabled when secure text context is unavailable and in URL, email, phone, number, and similar fields. The keyboard rejects passwords, email addresses, web addresses, card-like digit sequences, numbers, and multi-word text from remote learning.

7. Contacts, location, analytics, and ads

The current version does not request access to Contacts or Location and does not include analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs.

8. Consent, deletion, and privacy questions

You can revoke Community Learning consent and erase the local personal dictionary in the app. If you have a support request, privacy question, or deletion request related to Prime Keyboard, contact us at feedback@primemsg.com.
